Once a month on Wednesday evenings, the Hebrew Café brings Hebrew speakers and Hebrew learners at GW together to converse in Hebrew over pizza. The café is the brainchild of Professor Orian Zakai, coordinator of the Hebrew program.
The program invites visiting scholars to campus for the annual Frieda Kobernick Fleischman Lecture and Max Ticktin Memorial Lecture. Past topics include American Jewish people’s relationship with Israel and European intervention.
